A clear breakdown of how the match is added and how eligibility, wagering and withdrawal rules affect bonus value.
What a 200% Match Actually Adds
A 200% casino bonus sounds larger than a 100% match because the reward is calculated at twice the qualifying deposit. The percentage, however, describes the relationship between two figures; it does not describe the final value of the offer in isolation.
If the qualifying deposit is represented by D, a 200% match adds a bonus of 2D. The account therefore receives the original deposit alongside a bonus balance equal to twice that deposit, subject to the offer’s maximum and its terms. The arithmetic is simple. The judgement is not.
The word “adds” matters here. A deposit match is not the same thing as money handed over without conditions. The deposit belongs to the player’s account balance, while the matched amount is promotional bonus value. That distinction is central to any comparison of an online casino with a 200% bonus in the United Kingdom. A prominent percentage can make an offer look generous while leaving unanswered questions about how the bonus may be used, when it expires and what happens to any resulting balance.
The percentage follows the deposit
A 200% match grows with the qualifying deposit. A smaller deposit produces a smaller bonus; a larger qualifying deposit produces a larger one, unless the terms impose a ceiling. The percentage is therefore not a fixed cash prize and does not tell the whole story about the amount eventually placed in play.
Online Casino 400% Bonus in the UK: How It Works
This also means that the same headline can describe offers of very different practical size. One casino may advertise a 200% casino deposit bonus UK players can claim only against a restricted qualifying deposit. Another may attach the same percentage to a different maximum, a different group of eligible games or different withdrawal conditions. The label remains identical while the underlying offer changes.
The figure also says nothing about whether the full match is granted immediately. A headline may refer to the total promotional amount available under an offer, while the detailed terms determine how it is credited and used. That is why “200%” should be read as the starting point for inspection, not as a verdict.
A large bonus can have a small practical value
The usefulness of a match depends on more than its calculation. A specialist review of casino promotions identifies the reward, eligibility, qualifying deposit, game contribution, expiry and withdrawal conditions as factors that shape the bonus’s value. Those are not decorative details at the bottom of a page. They decide what the advertised amount means once it leaves the banner and enters the account.
Casino Bonuses: UK Offers and Bonus Types
Game contribution is particularly important. If a game counts fully towards the promotional conditions, the bonus may behave differently from one used on a game that contributes only partly or not at all. The same bonus balance can therefore have a different practical route through the offer depending on the games permitted by its terms.
Expiry changes the calculation in another way. A bonus that must be used within a set period offers less flexibility than one with more time attached to it. The headline amount may be mathematically generous while the available time makes it difficult to use under the stated conditions. A number without a calendar is an unfinished promise.
Withdrawal conditions matter as well. A bonus can increase the displayed balance without making every pound immediately withdrawable. The promotional balance, any winnings connected with it and the original deposit may be treated differently. The exact wording determines when funds can leave the account and whether particular parts of the balance remain restricted.
The UK context is part of the value
For a British player, a 200% welcome bonus belongs within the rules governing licensed online gambling. Remote operators serving the British market must hold a licence from the UK Gambling Commission, and legal online gambling is available through licensed and regulated sites. A headline offer found elsewhere does not acquire British regulatory status merely because it is written in English or accepts deposits from the United Kingdom.
Always check a current licence on the UK Gambling Commission’s public register before making any deposits.
That distinction affects how an offer should be assessed. A high percentage cannot compensate for uncertainty about the operator’s legal position, the applicable terms or the protections attached to a licensed account. The UK framework also requires age verification before a customer can deposit, and operators must provide account-level financial-limit controls. The promotion is not floating above those obligations; it sits inside them.
A current licence can be checked on the UK Gambling Commission’s public register before any deposit is made. That is a plain administrative step, but gambling has always had a talent for making administration look less important than spectacle.
What the headline leaves open
A 200% casino match bonus tells only one part of the story:
- how the bonus is calculated from the qualifying deposit;
- whether the advertised amount has a maximum;
- which games contribute towards the offer;
- how long the bonus remains available;
- which eligibility rules apply; and
- how and when the resulting funds may be withdrawn.
Those questions do not reduce the meaning of 200%. They give it meaning. The percentage shows the scale of the match in relation to the deposit; the conditions establish whether that scale is useful, reachable or largely theatrical. For anyone comparing a 200% slots bonus in the UK with another welcome offer, the responsible comparison is therefore not percentage against percentage, but the complete structure behind each one.

The First Deposit: Opt-In, Deposit, Then Spins
A welcome offer begins before the first game. The account has to exist, the promotion has to be selected, and the deposit has to meet the offer’s qualifying conditions. A 200% first-deposit casino bonus in the UK is therefore not a button that turns an ordinary payment into an instant windfall. It is a sequence, and each step can decide whether the reward appears at all.
A specialist review describes the claim process as registration, opting in and making a deposit. That order matters. Registration creates the gambling account; opting in links the account to the selected welcome offer; the deposit then supplies the qualifying funds. If one of those stages is skipped, the promotion may not attach to the account. The percentage in the advert does not alter that basic choreography.
Registration comes first
The account must be opened before the welcome offer can be claimed. For a UK-facing online casino, age verification is required before money can be deposited. The first-deposit stage is therefore connected to more than marketing. It is also the point at which the operator checks that the account can be used for gambling in the first place.
Online casino with a 500% bonus: how it works
A new customer is also prompted to set a financial limit before making the first deposit. Account-level controls remain available afterwards. This makes the opening payment a deliberately marked event rather than just another transaction in a long banking history. The casino is required to put a limit-setting decision in front of the new customer before the deposit is made.
The payment itself must use an accepted deposit method. UK-licensed casinos cannot accept credit cards for gambling, including credit-card funding routed through a money service business. A wallet that allows credit-card money to be used for gambling is also barred. The practical meaning is plain: a deposit can be made only through a route the operator is allowed to accept, even when the promotional page presents the offer as available.
Opting in is a separate action
After registration, the welcome offer has to be attached to the account. Opting in can take place on the promotion page, in the account area or during the deposit flow, depending on how the operator has arranged the offer. The important distinction is between seeing an offer and selecting it. A banner may describe a 200% deposit bonus for UK slots, but the account still needs to be associated with that particular promotion.
Understanding the difference
An offer for a deposit match and an offer for free spins are different incentives. A single welcome package may contain both, but they should be treated as separate components.
This is where an offer for a deposit match and an offer for free spins can become easy to confuse. A page may display both kinds of incentive, while the account is being asked to claim one defined welcome package. The deposit, the matched bonus and any spins should therefore be read as separate parts of the stated promotion, rather than assumed to form one unrestricted reward.
The selection also needs to happen before the qualifying payment is made when the operator’s process requires that order. A deposit made first may be treated as an ordinary deposit rather than as the payment connected with the welcome offer. The exact activation route belongs to the promotion’s terms, not to the percentage printed in its headline.
The deposit starts the offer
Once the offer is selected, the qualifying deposit is made through an accepted deposit method. At this point, a 200% deposit bonus for online slots may add bonus funds according to the conditions attached to that promotion. The first payment is the trigger for the offer, but it does not necessarily mean that every part of the reward is immediately available for use or withdrawal.
Some welcome packages present the deposit match and the spins together. They should still be treated as distinct balances or rewards. The matched amount belongs to the deposit-bonus side of the promotion; the spins belong to the game-specific side. A mobile casino offering a 200% deposit bonus may show the same sequence on a smaller screen, but the device does not remove the conditions attached to the account.
Online Casino with 600% Bonus: How It Works
Spins may come after a qualifying stake
A specialist review notes that a welcome offer can require a qualifying stake before its free spins are credited. This changes the apparent order suggested by the advertisement. The customer may register, opt in and deposit, yet still have to place the required qualifying bet before the spins appear.
That stake is not the same thing as simply depositing money. A deposit transfers funds into the account; a qualifying stake is a gambling transaction made under the promotion’s terms. The distinction matters because a search for a “200% free spins casino bonus” can create the impression that the spins arrive at the moment the payment succeeds. In some offers, the deposit opens the path and the qualifying bet completes it.
The account should therefore be checked after each stage: registration, promotion selection, deposit and any qualifying stake. The operator’s account area is the place where the relevant bonus balance and promotional status may be shown. If the spins have not appeared, the missing step may be the activation of the offer or the required stake, rather than a fault in the game.
The attractive part is printed in large type. The sequence is printed elsewhere.
Codes, Eligibility and the Small Print
A 200% casino bonus can look generous before the first character of its code has been entered. That is precisely when caution matters most. The percentage belongs to the offer; access belongs to the terms. A bonus may be visible on a welcome page and still remain unavailable because the account, household or deposit method does not fit the operator’s conditions.
Possessing a promotional code does not guarantee eligibility. Access depends on your account status, household limits, and deposit methods.
The first distinction is between an offer that requires activation and one that is attached automatically. A specialist review reports that some casinos ask for a promotional code during the deposit process, while others apply the qualifying offer without a code. These are not interchangeable arrangements. With a code-based offer, the spelling, timing and location of the entry can matter. A code placed after the deposit, or omitted altogether, may leave the transaction outside the promotion. An automatically applied offer removes that particular step, but it does not remove the eligibility rules.
The code is therefore not the bonus itself. It is a signal to the operator that a particular promotion is being claimed. The account still has to qualify, and the deposit still has to be made through an accepted route. This is why the phrase “200% casino bonus code” can create a false sense of certainty: possessing a code does not establish that it works for every customer, every account or every deposit method.
Who can claim a welcome bonus?
Welcome offers are designed for new customers. A specialist review describes the relevant restrictions as applying to new customers, with one offer permitted per household. That wording reaches beyond the name on an account. Two accounts connected with the same household may not be treated as two independent opportunities to claim the same promotion. The commercial logic is plain enough: a welcome bonus is intended to introduce a customer to an operator, not to become a household subscription.
Online Casino Bonus Crab Offers in the UK
Existing customers should not assume that a new-looking page changes that position. A different headline, a revised code or a 200% label does not necessarily turn an old account into a new one. Eligibility is determined by the operator’s terms, not by the brightness of the banner.
The age rule is separate and fundamental. Online gambling is legal in the United Kingdom for people aged 18 and over when the operator holds a UK Gambling Commission licence. Operators must verify age before allowing a customer to deposit funds into a gambling account. Registration can therefore begin a promotional claim without making the account immediately ready for gambling. Verification stands between an account and its deposit function, as it should.
British operators offering remote gambling must hold the relevant Gambling Commission licence. The licence can be checked on the Commission’s public register before a deposit is made. This is more than administrative tidiness. A promotional page may be dressed in local language, pounds and familiar payment symbols, but the regulatory position belongs to the operator behind it. Offshore casinos operate outside the UK Gambling Commission system and do not hold a UKGC licence. Their offers should not be confused with offers from legal online casinos serving the British market.
Deposit methods can decide eligibility
The deposit method is another quiet gatekeeper. A specialist review notes that welcome deals may exclude particular methods, including some e-wallets. The exclusion can matter even when the account, code and customer status appear correct. A promotion is not necessarily available simply because the casino accepts the deposit route for ordinary account funding.
DO
- Check the official UKGC register
- Verify the specific deposit method
- Read the small print for exclusions
DON’T
- Use credit cards for gambling
- Assume all winnings are instantly withdrawable
- Ignore household restrictions
British rules add a firmer boundary. UK-licensed casinos cannot accept credit cards for gambling, including credit-card funding routed through a money service business. They also cannot accept wallet payments where the wallet permits credit-card funds to be used for gambling. The familiar wallet icon, then, does not settle the question. The source of the money and the operator’s promotional terms both matter.
The sensible reading of a 200% offer begins with the eligibility paragraph, not the headline. It should identify whether the promotion is for new customers, whether the household restriction applies, whether a code is required, and which deposit methods are excluded. The wording may be less entertaining than the banner. It is also the part that decides whether the banner has anything to offer.
Small print, large consequences.
Welcome Spins: Separate Rewards, Separate Conditions
A welcome offer built around free spins is not the same thing as a 200% deposit match. The labels may sit beside one another on casino pages, and both may be described as welcome bonuses, but they represent different forms of value. One adds play on selected slots; the other increases a qualifying deposit. Folding them into one impressive-looking package makes comparison harder, not easier.
A specialist review lists several separate offers in this category. LuckyMate is listed with a £10 bonus and 50 free spins. BetWright Casino is listed with 100 free spins, while Quickbet is also listed with 100 free spins. BetMGM Casino appears with 200 free spins. Casumo is listed differently again: a 50% deposit match up to £100, rather than a free-spin allocation.
Casino cashback bonuses: offers, terms and eligibility
That distinction matters. The LuckyMate listing contains both a cash-labelled bonus and free spins, but the two rewards should still be read as separate components. The BetWright, Quickbet and BetMGM entries are spin-led offers. Casumo belongs in a deposit-match comparison instead. It would be misleading to describe all five entries as one universal “200% free spins” promotion, because the listed amounts and reward types do not say that.
The largest spin figure is attached to BetMGM Casino, with 200 free spins. That number describes the stated spin allocation only. It does not establish the cash value of the spins, the value of any resulting winnings, or the conditions attached to using them. Likewise, 100 free spins at BetWright Casino and Quickbet are two separate listings, not a combined allocation of 200 spins. Arithmetic is a poor substitute for terms and conditions.
The same caution applies to LuckyMate’s £10 bonus with 50 free spins. The pound amount and the spin count are displayed together, yet they remain different rewards. A cash bonus can be subject to one set of rules, while the free spins may be restricted to particular games or have their own treatment. The presence of one reward does not silently remove the conditions attached to the other.
Free spins also tend to create a more attractive first impression than a deposit match. “200 spins” sounds plentiful because the unit is repeated rather than measured in pounds. But a spin is an opportunity to play, not a cash balance. The amount attached to each spin, the games in which it can be used and the handling of any winnings determine its practical value. Those details belong to the individual offer, not to the headline number.
The true value
Match percentages are only the starting point; the real value is determined by the terms and conditions.
This is why a search for a 200% first-deposit offer can lead to the wrong comparison. A 200% match concerns the relationship between a deposit and bonus funds. A spin offer concerns a number of slot plays. They may appear on the same welcome page, but they answer different questions: how much bonus balance is added, or how many spins are supplied? Treating the answers as interchangeable turns a comparison table into advertising theatre.
There is also a legal boundary around the setting in which these promotions are offered. Online casinos serving British customers must hold a current UK Gambling Commission licence, and the licence should be checked on the Commission’s public register before a deposit is made. A promotion’s wording does not change that requirement. Nor does a reference to a crypto casino or a large percentage make an offshore offer part of the British licensed market.
The listed spin offers therefore form a small catalogue, not a single ladder from 50 to 200 spins and not a disguised 200% deposit bonus. LuckyMate, BetWright Casino, Quickbet and BetMGM Casino are named with their respective spin or bonus figures; Casumo is listed with a separate deposit-match structure. The numbers can be recorded. The rewards cannot be casually merged. Different promises, different reading.
Wagering Requirements, Counted in Stakes
A bonus balance is not the same thing as money immediately available for withdrawal. A wagering requirement converts that balance into a target for total stakes: the amount placed across qualifying bets, rather than the amount left in the account after wins and losses.
The calculation begins with the bonus itself. A £20 bonus carrying a 10x requirement creates a wagering target of £200. That means £200 must be staked on eligible games before the bonus conditions are completed. It does not mean that £200 has to be deposited, nor that the account must show £200 at one moment. The figure is a running total of qualifying stakes.
This distinction matters when comparing a 200% deposit bonus with free spins. A large match percentage can produce a larger bonus balance, and therefore a larger wagering target, if the deposit qualifies for the full offer. The percentage is only the starting point. The real calculation is:
bonus amount × wagering multiplier = required total stakes
Under the Great Britain licensing regime, wagering requirements applied to bonus funds cannot exceed 10 times the bonus amount. That gives a 200% casino bonus a clear boundary when it is offered by a properly licensed operator: the bonus element cannot be assigned a requirement above that statutory maximum. Other conditions can still determine which bets count and when the balance is released.
The game changes the calculation
Not every stake necessarily advances the target at the same rate. Slots usually count in full, so a qualifying stake of a given amount adds that whole amount to the wagering total. This is why a slots-only offer can be easier to calculate than a mixed-games promotion.
Live tables and blackjack may count for less, or may be excluded altogether. A stake on one of those games can therefore add only part of its value to the progress bar, or add nothing. The result is a difference between money spent on play and money recognised for bonus wagering. The account may show activity without showing equivalent progress.
Wagering calculation
Step 1: Calculate the target
Multiply the bonus amount by the wagering multiplier (e.g., £20 bonus × 10x = £200 total stakes).
Step 2: Track progress
Place qualifying bets on eligible games to reach the total stake requirement.
The terms for a 200% deposit bonus with free spins can separate the two components in the same way. Stakes made with the bonus balance may follow one multiplier, while bets connected with the spins may have their own rules. A free-spin reward should not be assumed to reduce the deposit bonus target merely because both appear in one welcome package.
An account section commonly displays the bonus balance and the accumulated wagering progress. That record is useful because the arithmetic is otherwise easy to misread: winnings do not automatically equal qualifying stakes, and a game with a lower contribution rate can make the progress appear slower.
Time is part of the target
The wagering figure also exists within a deadline. A specialist review reports periods ranging from 7 to 30 days for meeting such requirements. The applicable period belongs to the individual offer, so the clock affects the practical value of the bonus as much as the multiplier does. If the target is not completed within the stated period, the bonus balance or related winnings may no longer remain available under the offer terms.
The sober version of a bonus advertisement is therefore a piece of arithmetic: identify the bonus amount, apply the multiplier, confirm which games count, and keep track of the permitted period. The headline is decoration. The stakes are the substance.
No-Deposit Spins and the Clock Behind Them
Recurring free spins can look generous because the number of spins is visible immediately, while the clock governing them remains tucked into the terms. A daily allocation is not necessarily a single welcome event. It may refresh after a fixed interval, creating a small routine of spins rather than one large promotional balance.
A specialist review of casino offers describes free daily spins as resetting every 24 hours. That timing matters: unused spins may not accumulate indefinitely, and a missed cycle may simply disappear when the next allocation arrives. The offer therefore has two separate moving parts — the moment at which new spins appear and the period during which any resulting winnings remain available.
Online Casinos with Daily Promotions in the UK
The value of each spin is another quiet limitation. The same specialist review places common spin values between 10p and 25p per spin. That gives a more useful picture than the headline number alone. A large allocation of low-value spins is not equivalent to a smaller allocation with a higher stake attached. The arithmetic is modest by design; the attraction lies in repetition and presentation.
The word “free” can also obscure the form in which winnings first arrive. According to that review, daily-spin winnings are generally credited as bonus funds rather than cash. That classification affects how the balance is displayed and what the account terms may require before the funds can be treated as withdrawable. The spin itself may cost nothing, but the resulting entry in the account is not necessarily cash sitting outside the promotional system.
There is a second clock on the winnings. A specialist review gives an expiry range of 24 hours to 7 days for spin winnings. The shorter end leaves little room for postponement: a balance created by one day’s spins may have to be dealt with before the next ordinary routine has even begun. A longer period offers more breathing space, but it is still a deadline, not a permanent addition to the account.
Bonus winnings are often subject to a short expiry period, typically between 24 hours and 7 days.
This is why recurring free spins should be read as a timetable as much as a reward. The reset determines when the spins arrive; the per-spin value indicates their scale; the expiry period determines how quickly their winnings can vanish. Three small lines of terms, and the promotional clock starts ticking.
When Bonus Winnings Become Real Money
The phrase “real money” matters because a casino balance can contain two different things. Deposited funds and withdrawable cash are not the same as bonus funds attached to a welcome offer. A balance may look larger after a promotion, yet that does not by itself mean every pound shown is ready to leave the account.
A 200% casino bonus in the UK therefore needs to be read through its conditions, not its headline. A deposit match creates bonus funds whose treatment depends on the offer rules. Winnings connected to those funds may remain restricted until the stated playthrough has been completed. Until then, the displayed balance is promotional value, not necessarily cash available for withdrawal.
Wager-free offers are different in structure. A specialist review describes them as paying winnings as cash without a playthrough requirement. In that narrow sense, the winnings become real money without being converted through a required total of bets. The distinction is substantial: the absence of playthrough removes one barrier between a win and a withdrawal, although the offer’s own conditions still define what the casino will pay.
This is why “cash” and “bonus” should not be treated as interchangeable labels. Cash describes funds that can be withdrawn under the applicable terms. Bonus funds describe promotional value, often accompanied by conditions that govern its use and any resulting winnings. A wager-free promotion changes that route by treating the winnings as cash from the outset.
The wording still needs care. “Wager-free” concerns playthrough, not every possible condition attached to an offer. A casino’s terms remain the decisive document for the status of the balance, while the promotional headline is merely the shop window. A bright sign, not a bank statement.
Deposit Match: The Match Rate Is Only One Part
A deposit match can be presented as a sequence rather than a single reward attached to the first payment. That distinction matters when an offer is described as a “200% casino deposit match” package. The percentage may draw attention, while the actual structure is divided between separate deposits, each with its own rate and ceiling.
Online Casino Reload Bonuses: UK Offer Terms
A specialist review describes one such arrangement as a first deposit matched at 100%, with the bonus capped at £500. Later deposits in the same package may carry lower match rates of 50% to 75%. The headline figure, if one is used for the whole package, therefore does not mean that the first deposit receives a 200% match. It may refer to the combined promise across successive stages.
The arithmetic is straightforward but the presentation is not. A qualifying first deposit receives the stated first-stage match, subject to its £500 limit. A later deposit is assessed under its own match rate, rather than inheriting the first stage’s terms. A player who stops after the opening deposit has not claimed the later parts of the package; the advertised total is not automatically placed in the account at registration.
Some versions of this staged arrangement also list free spins alongside the later deposit stages. Those spins are a separate reward, not an increase to the deposit match, and their own conditions determine how they work. Folding every benefit into one impressive percentage makes the offer look simpler than it is.
Final checklist
- Verify the operator’s UKGC licence
- Check the specific game contribution rates
- Confirm the maximum withdrawal cap
- Understand the wagering requirements
The useful comparison is therefore not “200% versus 100%”. It is the number of deposit stages, the match rate attached to each stage, the cap applying to each one, and whether the later stages require further deposits. The first line is theatre. The sequence is the offer.
Free Spins Without Wagering: Check the Withdrawal Cap
A free-spin offer described as “without wagering” can sound more generous than it is. The phrase answers one question only: whether winnings must be turned over in bets before a withdrawal is requested. It does not necessarily answer how much of those winnings may leave the account.
This distinction matters when comparing a 200% free-spins or welcome bonus offer in the UK. A headline percentage may describe a deposit match, while the spins sit under separate terms. Even where the spin winnings are presented as wager-free, the conditions may contain a maximum withdrawal amount. Any balance above that ceiling may not be available as cash. The arithmetic is less glamorous than the advertising, but it is the part that reaches the withdrawal page.
A specialist review has reported that some free-spin promotions restrict the amount that can be withdrawn from spin winnings. That is not a universal rule for every casino or every offer; it is a reason to treat the withdrawal cap as a separate term rather than assuming that “no wagering” means “no restriction”. The operator’s own terms should identify whether the limit applies to the winnings, the total balance, or a particular promotion.
There is another possible complication. A free-spin reward may be called wager-free while the resulting winnings still carry a wagering condition before withdrawal. A specialist review has described this arrangement as occurring in some offers. The label therefore needs to be read alongside the rules attached to the winnings, not just the banner announcing the spins.
Online Casino 300% Bonus: How the Offer Works
The practical sequence is simple: establish whether wagering applies, then find any maximum withdrawal clause, and finally check what happens to winnings above that amount. A promotion can remove playthrough and still narrow the cash outcome. No wagering is not no conditions.
Expiry, Game Contributions and the Terms That Decide It
A headline such as “200% casino bonus” says little about how long the value remains available. The terms and conditions decide when bonus funds expire, whether free spins have a separate deadline, and what happens to any balance left when the period ends. Bonus funds and free spins commonly remain active for between 7 and 30 days, although the exact period belongs to the individual offer rather than to the percentage printed in its advert.
That deadline can apply from different points: registration, the qualifying deposit, activation of the welcome bonus, or the moment spins are credited. These are not interchangeable dates. A free-spin allocation may therefore have its own expiry, even where the associated deposit match is still visible in the account. Once the stated period ends, unused bonus value can disappear and progress connected with it may no longer count.
Game contribution is another quiet term with a loud effect. The contribution rate determines how much of a stake is recognised towards the offer’s wagering condition. Slots often count at 100%, so the full qualifying stake is recognised. Blackjack and roulette may count at 10% or be excluded altogether. A casino balance can therefore move while the relevant bonus progress barely changes—or does not change at all.
The wording matters particularly for a large match. A player may read “200%” as a single promise, while the terms attach different contribution rates to slots, table games and other categories. They may also specify which titles qualify, whether certain stakes are excluded, and when the clock starts. The sensible reading is therefore not the headline but the operational detail: expiry date, qualifying games, contribution rate and the treatment of unused funds. Fine print is where the offer becomes real.
